Boyle brace steals the show
Martin Boyle starred for Hibernian, scoring twice in an exhilarating 3-3 draw with second-placed Rangers in the Scottish Premiership.
Boyle, who also captained the side, kept the Rangers defence on edge, securing a valuable point for Hibs.
"It was chaotic - we could've won it or lost it in the end," Boyle told Hibs TV post-game.
"We gave ourselves a platform to build on and got back into the game.
“I was in the right position at the right time today."
Boyle has suffered his fair share of injuries this season but has started and played every minute of Hibernian's last five league fixtures.
Teammates Lewis Miller and Jack Iredale also played a full match, delivering strong defensive performances.
Nectarios Triantis, playing in midfield for Hibs, had a stellar outing. The 21-year-old won all his aerial and ground duels, made three interceptions, and showcased his growing influence at this level.
Hearts duo edge past Strain's Dundee
Kye Rowles and Cameron Devlin played key roles in Hearts' 1-0 victory over Dundee United, helping secure a clean sheet and valuable three points.
Hearts have now kept two consecutive clean sheets as they move further away from the bottom of the Scottish Premiership table.
Ryan Strain was on the opposite side, completing a full game for Dundee in their narrow loss.
Elsewhere in Scotland, Josh Nisbet put in a hardworking 75-minute shift for Ross County in their 1-0 triumph over Kilmarnock.
Earlier in the week, County also overcame fourth-place Aberdeen 2-1. The midfielder's energy and composure helped his side out of the relegation zone.
